One of the most meaningful parts of sorority life is philanthropy. Each sorority partners with a charitable organization or cause, giving members the opportunity to volunteer, fundraise, and make a real impact in their communities.

During sorority recruitment, you’ll often hear about each chapter’s philanthropy during the philanthropy round, so it’s helpful to understand what each organization supports ahead of time.

Below is a guide to many of the major National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities and their philanthropic causes.

Why Philanthropy Matters During Recruitment

While philanthropy is important, it’s also helpful to remember that recruitment is about finding the chapter where you feel most comfortable and supported. Every sorority participates in meaningful service work, and each organization offers opportunities to grow, give back, and build lifelong friendships.

At Bid Day and Beyond, we help PNMs understand every part of the recruitment process, including how to talk about philanthropy during rounds and how to connect authentically with each chapter.
